Director of Distribution (Consumer Goods)

Salary: $124,000–$186,000 base salary annually, plus cash incentives

What you will do

• Lead communication and execution of annual sales strategies and monthly or quarterly initiatives with distributor partners.
• Own regional Off Premise business planning, including distribution, volume, in-store execution, investments, service, KPIs, and budgets.
• Measure distributor performance using business intelligence, standardized reports, SAP BI, and other hirify.global systems.
• Optimize the regional distributor network and manage deployment of the Direct Store Delivery service model.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop Distributor Partner Managers and build talent pipelines for distribution roles.
• Coordinate cross-functional Off Premise planning and maintain alignment with distributor owners, the General Manager, and the Vice President of Distribution.

Requirements

• More than 10 years of sales experience and a proven track record in the consumer goods industry; beverage experience is preferred.
• Distributor and supplier experience, including experience working with or managing a Direct Store Delivery network.
• At least 6 years of management experience leading, motivating, and developing direct reports.
• Strong business acumen, communication, presentation, training, negotiation, influencing, and business analytics skills.
• Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales and trade marketing strategies, with strong knowledge of consumer marketing principles.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
