Data Analyst (AI)

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually, plus equity

hirify.global is a New York City-based, venture-backed startup building AI and robotic process automation products for construction owners and operators.

What you will do

• Understand customer decision-making and identify construction data that can support better outcomes.
• Analyze data structures from construction systems and public data sources.
• Set up customer dashboards, reconfigure business processes, and lead whiteboard sessions for data use cases.
• Identify and propose data sources that can improve customer decisions.
• Consult customers on using their data through the hirify.global platform and document related workflows, policies, structures, standards, and procedures.
• Develop and run descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics with Python and Jupyter Notebook, while gathering feedback to identify new use cases.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or master's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, engineering, or statistics, or in construction management.
• At least 2 years of quantitative data analysis and complex problem-solving experience in construction.
• At least 2 years of construction industry experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, plus experience with data visualization and exploration tools such as QuickSight, Power BI, Tableau, or Jupyter Notebook.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused and collaborative approach.

Nice to have

• Experience applying AI or RPA in construction workflows.
• Strong understanding of technology systems used in the construction industry.
• Interest in growing across customer success, data analytics, data science, or machine learning.
