Principal Product Manager (Couchbase Mobile)

Location: Remote — US-based

Base salary: $160,000–$188,000 USD per year, plus potential bonus, commissions, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own and execute the roadmap for hirify.global Mobile, including hirify.global Lite, Sync Gateway, Capella App Services, and Edge Server.
• Write detailed technical product requirements and partner with engineering and design to deliver adopted products.
• Improve release quality, operational rigor, documentation, and developer experience across the mature portfolio.
• Shape support for on-device and edge AI use cases through concrete engineering-ready requirements.
• Work with customers and prospects to validate use cases, define requirements, and make build-or-not-build decisions.
• Lead customer escalations, technical evangelism, cross-functional planning, and enablement for sales, solutions engineering, and marketing.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience delivering mature products or portfolios at scale.
• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience, including building or architecting production applications.
• Experience building or architecting client-side mobile, desktop, or web applications; prototyping ability is required.
• Understanding of distributed systems, high availability, disaster recovery, security, access control, sync infrastructure, and at least one public cloud platform.
• Working knowledge of edge computing and AI concepts relevant to on-device and edge inference.
• Must be based in the United States; exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Fluency with client mobile technologies such as Flutter or KMM.
• Experience with distributed systems, databases, or developer platforms.
