IT Analyst Applications Developer (AWS)

Location: Monterrey, Mexico; the position requires onsite work five days a week. The role may start remotely but will transition to full onsite work. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7am–4pm, with up to 10% domestic and international travel.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native integrations using API Gateway, Lambda with Python, EventBridge, Step Functions, and other AWS serverless services.
• Implement RESTful APIs, event-driven workflows, asynchronous messaging, and connectivity with internal applications and external partners.
• Provision and deploy integration resources using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform, GitHub, and CI/CD automation.
• Implement authentication, certificates, rate limiting, schema validation, WAF rules, and other AWS security controls.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, patch, upgrade, and optimize integration platforms to support availability and service-level commitments.
• Document API specifications, integration patterns, service interactions, operational procedures, and incident resolutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, systems engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent preparation.
• Advanced working English is required for technical documentation and communication with technical, business, and partner teams.
• Experience designing AWS serverless integration solutions with API Gateway, Lambda and Python, EventBridge, and Step Functions.
• Knowledge of REST, SOAP, SFTP, MQ, OAuth/JWT, mTLS, Microsoft Entra ID authentication, schema validation, and AWS threat-protection capabilities.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK, GitHub-based workflows, CI/CD, monitoring, incident management, and ServiceNow.
