What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs supporting product features.
• Build and optimize data models and queries to ensure high performance and data integrity.
• Contribute to DevOps and cloud infrastructure practices, including automation, monitoring, and incident response.
• Collaborate with product and engineering partners to scope work and ship features iteratively.
• Manage and maintain production workloads on Kubernetes.

Requirements

• Strong experience delivering production-ready backend services with ownership of reliability and performance.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, including modern API design.
• Proficiency in Python for service development and automation.
• Production experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure with Terraform.
• Must be based in Mexico.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience building services with .NET Core.
