AI-Native Engineer, New Grad (Ingeniero/a de Software AI-Native — Inicio de Carrera) - Mexico City (Hybrid)

Location: Mexico City, Mexico — hybrid. Hybrid work includes time in the office, customer visits, and working from home; office presence is expected during ramp-up or when required by the leader.

What you will do

• Ship production code and deliver features used by real customers and financial transactions.
• Own features end to end, including design, development, testing, deployment, metrics monitoring, and fixes.
• Use AI for coding, debugging, testing, research, and workflow automation, while advancing AI usage within the team.
• Collaborate directly with Product, Design, and senior engineers.
• Build expertise in B2B fintech across multiple countries and regulatory environments.
• Choose between Product Engineering and Data & ML Engineering tracks.

Requirements

• Early-career software engineer without prior full-time software experience.
• Technical foundation in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent demonstrated ability.
• Evidence of building and defending a project, such as a GitHub repository, deployed application, open-source contribution, hackathon project, or user-facing tool.
• Demonstrated experience building with AI, such as agents, RAG, evaluations, fine-tuning, or automation tools.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and systems thinking.
• English is required for daily technical reading, writing, and discussion. Ownership and proactive problem-solving are expected.

Nice to have

• Basic Portuguese proficiency or willingness to learn it.
