What you will do

• Partner with Process Improvement, Product, DevOps, IT, Security, and business teams to identify workflow and process problems.
• Map systems, stakeholders, handoffs, dependencies, and bottlenecks across existing workflows.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into concrete technical approaches and identify opportunities for automation.
• Design, prototype, build, and productionize automation solutions.
• Integrate solutions with internal systems, APIs, infrastructure, and product workflows.
• Establish patterns and best practices for a broader Forward Deployed Engineer capability.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer or in an equivalent forward-deployed role.
• Strong software engineering background and ability to build production-quality solutions.
• Experience implementing workflow or process automation and taking solutions from discovery or prototype through production.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders in ambiguous environments without detailed requirements.
• Ability to work across APIs, integrations, internal tools, and production systems.
• Strong communication, systems thinking, ownership, autonomy, and leadership skills.
