Engineering Manager (Candy Crush Saga)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden. Regular in-office work is encouraged at hirify.global's city-centre office, with flexibility on the number of days.

What you will do

• Lead a cross-functional team of Engineers and QA worhirify.global on Candy Crush Saga's challenge and economy systems.
• Hire, coach, develop, and support Engineers and QA through clear expectations, feedback, and growth conversations.
• Participate in team rituals and technical discussions, helping the team make effective engineering decisions.
• Own delivery quality, predictability, and timeliness while reinforcing engineering standards and responsible AI-assisted engineering.
• Partner with the Product Manager and Producer on prioritization, roadmap planning, and trade-offs.
• Represent Engineering in Product Group and Domain leadership forums and surface cross-team risks and dependencies.

Requirements

• Experience managing Engineers and building a strong engineering culture.
• Experience leading Engineers, ideally with a background as a senior individual contributor.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across Product, Production, and other functions.
• Experience with live, large-scale consumer products and data-informed decision-mahirify.global.
• Experience worhirify.global with distributed teams and communicating clearly across disciplines and levels.
• Experience using AI tools and guiding their thoughtful adoption within a team.

Nice to have

• Experience in the games industry.
• Previous experience as a senior individual contributor.
