Engineering Manager (Revenue Management Azure) (Azure/FinOps): Leading a hands-on engineering team building and operating cloud-based SaaS products for Azure revenue management with an accent on technical leadership, delivery ownership, and team development. Focus on writing and reviewing code, shaping API-first architecture, applying AI-augmented workflows, and improving engineering quality and velocity.

Location: Remote, based in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden or Israel

What you will do

Lead an engineering team, owning delivery, development, professional well-being, and career growth.
Write, review, and ship code while guiding architectural and technical decisions.
Maintain engineering standards, scalable components, healthy release processes, and AI-augmented development practices.
Own planning, prioritization, roadmap commitments, staffing, and delivery quality in partnership with Product and Technical Product leadership.
Hire, coach, and develop engineers, technical leads, and future engineering managers.
Collaborate with Product, Design, GTM, Customer Success, and other teams on alignment and trade-offs.

Requirements

10+ years of engineering experience, including 4+ years in engineering management with active coding responsibilities.
Hands-on experience building and operating cloud-based SaaS products in production on Azure; AWS or GCP experience is also valuable.
Strong experience leading teams in FinOps and managing multidisciplinary teams including full-stack and data engineers.
Senior-level fluency in the primary engineering stack, including the ability to read, write, and review code.
Experience with API-first product development, team transformation, hiring, coaching, performance management, and technical decision-making.
Strong judgment under pressure and direct, candid communication skills.

Nice to have

Strong Golang knowledge or experience.
Established AI-augmented and agentic workflow experience.
Hands-on experience with multiple cloud providers.
Experience scaling teams, processes, or technical systems.
