Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Helsinki with 2–4 office days, or fully remote within EU time zones

What you will do

• Build AI-native product features using LLM pipelines, RAG systems, embeddings, and agents.
• Develop real-time backend systems processing emails, meetings, Slack, and product data.
• Build fast, polished frontend experiences with Vue.js, TypeScript, and a custom component library.
• Prototype and ship features directly with customers without a separate product manager layer.
• Own problems end-to-end and contribute to architecture, product direction, and engineering culture.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience shipping products at startups, including building and owning features from scratch.
• Strong full-stack skills with TypeScript or JavaScript, Vue.js or React, and Node.js.
• Solid PostgreSQL knowledge, including efficient queries and performance tuning.
• Genuine interest in applied AI and experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor to ship production work.
• Strong product instincts and attention to UX details.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases, or agent frameworks.
• Experience with real-time systems such as WebSockets, tRPC, or YJS.
• Complex SQL optimization, analytics pipelines, GCP, Cloud Run, or GitHub Actions experience.
• Experience building design systems or custom UI component libraries.
