Senior Estimator (Construction)

Location: Seattle, United States. Employment eligibility verification to work in the U.S. is required.

Salary: $129,900–$162,400 per year.

What you will do

• Lead estimating and preconstruction activities for commercial construction projects ranging from $5M to $100M+.
• Develop conceptual cost models, hard-bid estimates, design-build proposals, and detailed construction estimates.
• Solicit, analyze, and negotiate subcontractor and vendor quotes, recommending awards based on value and project requirements.
• Lead project teams through estimating, value design, scheduling, procurement, and cost-control activities.
• Maintain historical cost data, market pricing, estimate archives, and subcontractor and vendor resources.
• Coach preconstruction and project management staff and collaborate with clients, designers, engineers, subcontractors, and developers.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in construction management, construction, or civil engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of commercial construction, preconstruction, and estimating experience.
• Advanced knowledge of construction means and methods, building types, estimating, scheduling, cost control, and material pricing.
• Experience with quantity take-offs, conceptual estimating, cost modeling, Design-Build, and Integrated Project Delivery.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OST, Bluebeam, BuildingConnected, and Destini Estimator.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
