Event Manager (Life Sciences)

What you will do

• Lead the full lifecycle of live, virtual, and hybrid meetings, events, and brand experiences.
• Deliver pharmaceutical and Life Sciences programmes, including advisory boards, congress activations, HCP engagement events, training programmes, and conferences.
• Translate client briefs into engaging event experiences in collaboration with account management, creative, strategy, and production teams.
• Manage budgets, timelines, project plans, suppliers, venues, and service providers.
• Oversee registration, delegate management, travel, accommodation, and on-site operations while leading event delivery.
• Evaluate event performance, provide improvement recommendations, and support junior team members, freelancers, and external partners.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience delivering events, conferences, or complex programmes, ideally in an agency or client-facing environment.
• Experience working with pharmaceutical, healthcare, or Life Sciences clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, budgets, suppliers, and tight deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong client-facing communication and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to deliver programmes across the UK and internationally, including on-site event operations in Leatherhead, United Kingdom.
• Ability to ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, including the ABPI Code of Practice where applicable.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering HCP engagement programmes, congresses, or medical meetings.
• Experience working across EMEA or global event programmes.
• Understanding of Life Sciences, healthcare, or B2B sectors.
• Knowledge of current trends in events, experiential marketing, and event technology.
• Professional certification such as CMP.
