Senior Project Manager (Clinical Research)

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate global cross-functional teams delivering clinical studies.
• Manage study timelines, milestones, quality, budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate study teams, programme teams, CROs, and external vendors as the primary point of contact.
• Oversee outsourced activities, risk management, issue resolution, escalations, and mitigation plans.
• Maintain Trial Master File completeness and inspection readiness throughout the study lifecycle.
• Support audits and regulatory inspections, improve processes, and mentor less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Degree in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of clinical research experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• At least 2 years of project management experience leading global clinical studies.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, clinical trial regulations, and study management processes.
• Experience managing full-lifecycle studies, budgets, timelines, vendors, and risk mitigation.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, organisational, and clinical trial systems skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree at Master’s level or higher.
• Formal project management certification.
• Extensive global study management experience across multiple clinical development phases.
