Manager, Technology & Cybersecurity Risk / Risk Data Analyst (AI)

Location: Richmond, Virginia; available to Virginia residents only. A hybrid schedule is required, with in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during core business hours targeting 9am–5pm EST.

Salary: $109,000–$169,000 national range, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus incentive.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise-wide technology and cybersecurity risk assessments across applications, infrastructure, cloud, on-premises, hybrid, and data environments.
• Identify, prioritize, monitor, and report risks involving security, resilience, availability, data integrity, third parties, and emerging technologies.
• Manage technology risk registers, remediation tracking, risk appetite support, key risk indicators, and independent challenge of controls and initiatives.
• Evaluate IT general controls, application controls, identity and access management, data protection, network and endpoint security, incident response, vulnerability management, and penetration testing.
• Build Power BI dashboards and executive PowerPoint reporting using risk data from GRC, security, and vendor systems.
• Design Power Automate workflows and use AI and generative AI tools to improve reporting, analysis, risk processes, and responsible AI risk management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technology or cyber risk, risk management/GRC, or risk data analytics.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, managing remediation, and working with NIST, ISO, SOC, or related risk and control frameworks.
• Strong Power BI dashboarding and data-modeling skills, advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, and experience producing executive-level risk narratives.
• Experience with Power Automate or similar workflow automation tools, APIs, and AI or generative AI tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, computer science, business, risk management, finance, or a related field.
• Must be a Virginia resident able to work a required hybrid schedule in Richmond; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, CTPRP, or PMP.
• Master’s degree in business administration, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Experience with Archer, ServiceNow GRC, OneTrust, cloud platforms, SQL, Python, PowerShell, or risk committee presentations.
