Senior Manager Technology Risk

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota; employees work in the office at least four days per week and may work from home one day per week.

Base salary: $122,400–$168,300 per year, with potential variable compensation.

What you will do

• Lead second-line technology and cyber risk oversight across assigned business and technology domains.
• Provide independent review and credible challenge of first-line risk management practices and control assessments.
• Identify emerging risks, assess technology and business changes, and review responses to technology and cyber risk events.
• Support governance forums and risk committees through risk reporting, dashboards, materials, and follow-up actions.
• Lead Risk and Control Self-Assessments and support the implementation and enhancement of ORM methodologies.
• Advise stakeholders, recommend improvements, and mentor junior team members on risk methodologies and practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 7–10+ years of experience in technology risk, cyber risk, operational risk, audit, information security, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of IT operational processes, technology controls, cybersecurity practices, and risk management frameworks.
• Working knowledge of NIST, COBIT, ISO 27000, FFIEC, and related regulatory standards.
• Experience with GRC/eGRC platforms and reporting tools, along with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Valid U.S. work authorization is required without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• CISA, CRISC, CISSP, or another relevant risk or security certification.
• Advanced degree.
