Internship - Legal Trainee / Research Associate (f/m/x)

What you will do

• Support the implementation and day-to-day operation of the compliance framework.
• Administer the employee participation program.
• Review and draft commercial agreements and other legal documentation.
• Conduct legal research and translate complex legal requirements into pragmatic business recommendations.
• Improve legal processes, templates, and workflows using technology and automation.

Requirements

• Successfully completed the First German State Examination in Law and preparing for or completing the legal traineeship (Referendariat).
• Broad interest in business law and different legal and regulatory areas.
• Pragmatic and commercial mindset, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly understand complex legal, technical, and regulatory topics.
• Strong written and spoken German and English.
• Genuine interest in technology, start-ups, and international work.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI tools and interest in applying AI to legal research, drafting, knowledge management, or process automation.
