What you will do

• Identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical problems with limited supervision.
• Design, develop, and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, drawings, and specifications.
• Design and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and related processes for handling, assembly, and disassembly.
• Define, perform, and document engineering tests and analysis.
• Lead or execute projects, develop suppliers, and generate mechanical product specifications.
• Coordinate procurement, manufacturing, installation, and assembly of mechanical components and equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 4–7 years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, and manufacturing methods.
• Experience with GD&T, flow analysis, and/or Design for Excellence principles.
• Ability to work at the Santa Clara, CA location.
