Electronics Technician - Tune and Balance

What you will do

• Repair and refurbish low-complexity electronic modules, X-ray tanks, detectors, and metal detectors.
• Tune and balance detectors for Round, V3, and V4 systems and support new builds under supervision.
• Calibrate equipment to factory standards, set up metal detectors for testing, and verify performance.
• Diagnose faults, replace electronic components that do not meet specifications, and follow electrical and mechanical safety guidelines.
• Complete quality checklists, track project time, and report quality, process, equipment, and material issues.
• Assist higher-level technicians, provide basic hands-on training, and contribute ideas to reduce costs and improve quality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic soldering skills and the ability to read schematics and drawings.
• Experience using electronic test equipment and basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Entry-level troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic SAP production-order transactions.
• Ability to work overtime, meet physical demands including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and pass legally permitted drug testing for this safety-sensitive position.
