What you will do
- Establish the Design and Engineering Production Hub, including team structure, workflows, software, IT and file management systems.
- Recruit, onboard, train and line-manage engineers, technicians and support staff.
- Scope, resource and coordinate production requests across multiple projects, hub offices and time zones.
- Track delivery progress, hours, budgets, risks and programme commitments.
- Own quality management, technical reviews, project standards, documentation and sign-off processes.
- Develop the Hub from drafting and modelling support into design and engineering delivery, including data centre and mission-critical capability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience as an Engineering Lead, preferably in consulting, shared services or a global delivery environment.
- Experience managing global and multi-country projects involving data centres, corporate fit-outs, commercial buildings, industrial facilities or similar developments.
- Expertise in project planning, design coordination, stakeholder management, budget oversight, risk management and delivery across the project lifecycle.
- Experience leading cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams while meeting quality, safety, regulatory and client standards.
- Professional Engineer, Chartered Engineer or equivalent certification is advantageous.
