What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop HVAC lead installers, apprentices, quality-control field supervisors, and installation coordinators.
- Recruit, interview, hire, train, and retain installation personnel.
- Manage daily installation operations, scheduling, capacity, and crew performance.
- Ensure installations meet quality, safety, code-compliance, and customer-experience standards.
- Provide field support and technical coaching while developing apprentices into lead installers.
- Control labor, material, and installation costs, reduce callbacks, and implement solutions to operational problems.
Requirements
- 2–5+ years of HVAC installation management experience.
- Strong residential HVAC installation experience and technical knowledge of equipment, installation practices, troubleshooting, and code requirements.
- Proven ability to lead, train, coach, and hold teams accountable.
- Understanding of job costing, labor, materials, productivity, and profitability.
- EPA Certification and a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
