Designer - Advanced UX (Automotive)

What you will do

• Develop advanced UX concepts and visual directions for future in-vehicle experiences.
• Create scalable design systems, visual languages, and interface frameworks across platforms and features.
• Produce 2D illustrations, UI explorations, motion studies, simple 3D models, and animations.
• Build low- to high-fidelity prototypes to validate interaction patterns and demonstrate feature flows.
• Iterate on user flows, interaction models, and motion behaviors using feedback and user needs.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, product, and supplier teams, presenting concepts and influencing product decisions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience across UX Design, Product Design, Human Interface Design, or related fields.
• A curated design portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX processes, systems thinking, low- to high-fidelity prototyping, visual storytelling, and complex interaction design.
• Expert proficiency in Figma and advanced prototyping tools such as ProtoPie.
• Ability to work onsite in Warren, Michigan, United States.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Sketch, XD, Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe Illustrator.
• Working knowledge of 3D modeling workflows.
• Experience with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Understanding of engineering and software constraints.
