Designer III

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States

Salary: $30–$64 per hour

What you will do

• Create discovery artifacts, sketches, rough prototypes, wireframes, UX flows, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Apply typography, hierarchy, visual design, and brand principles to digital products.
• Lead competitive analyses, communicate findings, and support strategic and tactical delivery initiatives.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders, program management, Senior Designers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to design libraries and coach designers through actionable feedback and mentorship.
• Lead human-centered design processes, accessibility tasks, risk identification, and recommendations for mitigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience; relevant experience may substitute for education.
• Progressive experience with design principles, relevant technologies, and the relationship between design work and business goals.
• Experience with design tools such as Figma, Miro, Adobe, or comparable software.
• Must be able to work remotely within the United States.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous requirements, communicate with stakeholders, and support delivery schedules.
