Software Engineer (AI)

Location: New York City, United States; in-person five days a week

Salary: $150,000–$220,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Design and build scalable, reliable systems supporting core product workflows.
• Own features and projects end-to-end, from problem definition through implementation, deployment, and iteration.
• Develop AI-powered experiences for clinicians and patients.
• Build for reliability, observability, performance, and long-term scalability.
• Collaborate with engineers, clinicians, and cross-functional partners to simplify complex healthcare problems.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building production systems end-to-end with minimal oversight.
• Fluency in TypeScript and/or Python.
• Ability to work across the software stack and learn new technologies independently.
• Authorization to work in the United States and availability to work in person in NYC five days a week.
