Engineer II (AdTech)

Location: Belfast, United Kingdom; hybrid schedule with remote work on Monday and Friday and in-office work on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

What you will do

• Write production-ready code and unit tests that meet system and business requirements.
• Design, develop, and operate large-scale, real-time server applications.
• Respond to feature requests, bug reports, performance issues, and ad-hoc technical questions.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering and product teams on requirements, architecture, and design.
• Support services in production and deliver reliable, business-critical software.

Requirements

• 2+ years of systems programming experience in Rust, C, C++, Go, Java, or a comparable language, with enthusiasm for writing production Rust.
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience building and operating large-scale, high-traffic enterprise server applications.
• Experience with threading, concurrency, and memory management, with a focus on minimizing latency.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical or industry experience.
• Ability to balance high-quality development with pragmatic and sustainable product delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a Linux environment.
• Familiarity with networking protocols.
• Interest in participating in product and business decisions as a software engineer.
• Experience designing reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
