Senior Fullstack Engineer (TypeScript)

What you will do

• Unify MarineTraffic and hirify.global Terminal on Atlas, a shared Tailwind-based design system using Vue 3 and React.
• Design and scale Backend-for-Frontend layers and microservices for maps, search, dashboards, and user preferences across web and mobile platforms.
• Modernize monorepo tooling, CI automation, migration pathways, and frontend architectural conventions for approximately 20 feature teams.
• Integrate AI development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code into engineering workflows.
• Design resilient systems using hexagonal architecture, Domain-Driven Design, event-driven patterns, and micro-frontends.
• Mentor engineers through documentation, code reviews, frontend chapter presentations, and developer sessions.

Requirements

• Senior experience architecting, building, and operating production web applications and microservices at scale.
• Strong TypeScript skills across the stack, with Vue 3, React, and Node.js experience.
• Deep experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, microservices, Backend-for-Frontend patterns, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
• Ability to balance architectural quality with rapid, iterative product delivery.
• Hands-on experience using AI development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.

Nice to have

• Experience with Mapbox, GraphQL schema federation, Python, or Scala.
• Experience with monorepos, micro-frontends, hexagonal architecture, or Domain-Driven Design.
• Experience maintaining shared component libraries and design systems.
