Business Governance & Risk Analyst

Location: Heredia, Costa Rica; home-based role

What you will do

• Review and help create risk-related controls supporting the business governance process.
• Prepare detailed reports on findings and provide insights for senior management.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, operations, and product teams on governance and risk-management materials and presentations.
• Administer selected governance processes, functions, and meetings, including presenting content.
• Document governance and risk-management processes with flowcharts and diagrams.
• Analyze business processes, identify risks and inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Professional experience in governance, risk management, control testing, auditing, or compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including confidence presenting to groups and facilitating meetings.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
• Experience with process-management tools such as Jira, Asana, Confluence, or similar platforms.
