Mobile Software Engineering Intern - Android (AI)

Location: Hybrid work at an hirify.global office in Mountain View, California; Atlanta, Georgia; Charlotte, North Carolina; New York, New York; or San Diego, California. Relocation stipend provided.

Salary: $35.50–$79.42 per hour, with potential eligibility for cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, build, and test features for Android applications, from user interfaces to connected services.
• Write clean, well-tested Kotlin and Java code and participate in code reviews.
• Debug and resolve defects across the application stack.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn requirements into working software.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and share effective practices with the team.
• Support deployment and ongoing maintenance of shipped features.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date after the internship ends.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis for the duration of the internship.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment at an hirify.global office location.
• Experience building Android applications, preferably with Kotlin.
• Familiarity with Android architecture and frameworks such as Jetpack, Coroutines, and MVVM; working knowledge of Kotlin, Java, and Python.
• Understanding of cloud-based API integration, Agile methodologies, software development lifecycles, problem-solving, and technical communication.
