Enterprise Solutions Engineer (Storage)

Location: Remote, but candidates must be based in Michigan and able to support customers and partners in the territory.

Salary: $197,200–$255,200 annual OTE, including base salary and potential commission.

What you will do

• Serve as the technical lead and trusted advisor for enterprise accounts.
• Partner with Enterprise Client Executives to develop strategy, build pipeline, and close new and expansion opportunities.
• Collaborate with channel partners and partner solutions engineers on joint selling and execution.
• Lead discovery sessions to identify business challenges, technical gaps, and future-state requirements.
• Architect and configure solutions across ONTAP, SAN, NAS, block, file, hybrid cloud, and data protection environments.
• Support complex sales cycles while advising customers on AI readiness, data strategy, hybrid cloud, and disaster recovery.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in technical presales, solutions engineering, or systems engineering in a quota-driven environment.
• Experience supporting enterprise or Fortune 1000 customers through complex sales cycles.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, storage, SAN, NAS, block, file, hybrid cloud, virtualization, and data protection technologies.
• Experience designing and configuring deployable solutions within customer environments.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities, collaborate with channel partners, and communicate technical value clearly.
• Must be based in Michigan and able to support the assigned territory.
