Senior Systems Engineer (SaaS)

What you will do

• Lead incident management, monitoring, and day-to-day operations for SaaS delivery environments while meeting service-level agreements.
• Administer and maintain hirify.global SaaS deployment lifecycle operations.
• Operate and maintain AWS environments and support production infrastructure.
• Diagnose and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments to ensure reliable performance.
• Use PowerShell to automate operational tasks, troubleshooting, maintenance, and administration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, improve service delivery, and participate in a rotating weekend on-call schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience with relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server, including database design and optimization.
• At least 5 years of experience managing websites, preferably with IIS, and deploying web applications.
• At least 5 years of experience with scripting, including PowerShell or Python, plus experience with production environments and complex application or infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Experience with cloud platforms, development practices, and tools such as AWS, Azure, Jenkins, and Git.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, Docker, Helm, Terraform, or Ansible, along with leadership, mentoring, prioritization, and technical customer support skills.
