Summer Associate Internship (Business Intelligence Analyst)

Location: Hybrid in Vienna, Virginia, United States; Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. The internship runs for 12 weeks from May 2027 through August 2027.

Salary: $26.44–$46.88 per hour

What you will do

• Analyze marketing, member, and business performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and campaign drivers.
• Conduct exploratory research and analysis to answer strategic business questions.
• Support dashboards, automated reporting, measurement frameworks, and KPI development.
• Gather, organize, and validate data from multiple sources for analytical initiatives.
• Translate findings into actionable recommendations and executive-ready presentations.
• Collaborate with analysts, business partners, and leadership on marketing intelligence projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a master's degree at an accredited college or university, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Coursework in business analytics, data science, statistics, economics, marketing, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience with SQL, Python, R, or other analytical programming languages.
• Experience creating dashboards, reports, or visualizations for business audiences.
• Previous internship, academic project, or leadership experience involving analytics or problem-solving.
