Engineering Lead Generator Mechanic – MCPP (Philippines)

What you will do

• Install, operate, maintain, adjust, service, repair, and store electrical equipment and generator systems.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance activities in accordance with contract requirements and Marine Corps policies.
• Support equipment readiness, maintenance shop organization, and control of maintenance assets.
• Provide guidance on fuel systems maintenance and review invoices and requisitions to plan work.
• Inventory repair parts and requisition replacement stock, equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Interpret specifications, drawings, work orders, technical instructions, and layouts while following safety and quality procedures.

Requirements

• Associate degree or coursework toward a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; equivalent education, training, certification, and experience may be considered.
• At least four years of progressive experience in generator systems maintenance and logistics support.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Valid state motor vehicle driver’s license required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. passport, work visa, and Alien Employment Permit for the Philippines.
• Must pass an FBI background investigation with no criminal, civil, or security violations.

Nice to have

• USMC MOS 1142.
• Understanding of Marine Corps policies, regulations, and orders.
• Industry certification and knowledge of military storage procedures.
• Expertise in maintenance procedures for military tactical equipment and supplies.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
