Analyst Level 2 - Research and Development (Pharmaceutical)

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; onsite laboratory position

Salary: CAD 30.00–34.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform routine and complex analytical testing of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical finished products and raw materials.
• Execute method verifications, validations, transfers, and testing according to approved protocols, SOPs, deviations, change controls, and cGMP guidelines.
• Prepare and standardize test, standard, and volumetric solutions, as well as study protocols, reports, forms, and SOPs.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, including required calibrations and qualifications.
• Complete work-order documentation and enter results into the electronic Laboratory Information System or client Certificate of Analysis for QA review.
• Report testing failures, support investigations, and assist with routine and non-routine technical problem resolution.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry or an equivalent field.
• More than 3 years of relevant experience with demonstrated ability to perform complex analytical duties.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions safely, accurately, and on time, with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and electronic laboratory documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced professional environment and work independently or collaboratively.
