Field Service Technician II (Medical Devices)

Location: Wichita, Kansas, United States; onsite field service in hospitals, service centers, depots, and customer accounts

Salary: $46,400–$63,800 per year

What you will do

• Clean, disinfect, inspect, and prepare rental and customer-owned medical products for patient use.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and malfunctioning components.
• Use appropriate tools to perform adjustments, repairs, and operational function checks.
• Provide delivery, removal, and service support for products at service centers and customer accounts.
• Load, unload, and remove medical products weighing up to 1,680 pounds.
• Safely operate a cargo van, box truck, or company vehicle up to 26,000 pounds and provide on-call coverage, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and acceptable driving record.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to work safely around potential biohazards.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and provide customer account visits as needed.

Nice to have

• Technical or trade school training.
• DOT physical card or willingness to obtain one with assistance.
• Experience with FDA-regulated products and customer service.
