Field Service Operations Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Leixlip / Maynooth, Ireland; regional and international travel required up to 20% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

Salary: €64,800.00–€89,100.00 annually, with potential bonus and stock award participation.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Customer Engineers supporting critical semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Build customer relationships and manage operational and service delivery activities.
• Drive performance across safety, quality, customer satisfaction, financial results, and business objectives.
• Manage workforce planning, hiring, training, and resource allocation.
• Lead installation, startup, warranty, and service support activities while managing technical escalations.
• Partner with Technical Support, Training, Finance, HR, Spares, and Sales to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading technical teams in semiconductor, engineering, manufacturing, field service, or another complex operational environment.
• Proven experience in people management, coaching, performance management, and talent development.
• Strong customer relationship management, stakeholder engagement, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial awareness covering operational performance, budgeting, and cost management.
• Flexibility to travel within the region and internationally as business needs require.
