Manufacturing Engineer II (New Product Introduction)

Location: Galway, County Galway, Ireland

Salary: €49,920–€74,880 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Support new product introduction from development through production ramp-up.
• Review equipment and fixture designs for manufacturing readiness.
• Create, review, and maintain manufacturing documentation.
• Support infrastructure and facility requirements for new manufacturing cells and build areas.
• Analyze yield and equipment downtime, provide Gemba support, and drive cell improvements.
• Maintain manufacturing data in SAP, support SAP ME implementation and launch activities, and lead root-cause investigations using DMAIC and 5 Why.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree at Level 8 or equivalent in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 2–3 years of industry experience, preferably in new product introduction.
• Strong understanding of process development, equipment qualification, and validation activities.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams with strong communication, planning, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting SAP ME implementation.
• Experience with DMAIC.
• Knowledge of SAP or Agile.
