Location: Remote nationwide in the United States; preferred locations include Arlington, Louisville, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York, Tampa, Nashville, Dallas, Seattle, Denver, and Fort Lauderdale. Periodic in-office work and occasional travel to offices may be required.
Salary: $86,300–$118,700 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do
- Manage day-to-day intake, planning, stakeholder coordination, reviews, and delivery timelines for print publications.
- Build and maintain content calendars covering themes, milestones, dependencies, approvals, and publication schedules.
- Lead the development of clear, engaging print content aligned with audience needs, brand standards, and business priorities.
- Partner with creative, editorial, marketing, compliance, analytics, vendor, and business stakeholders.
- Use performance insights, feedback, and publication learnings to improve content quality, relevance, efficiency, and impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, Publishing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in content strategy, editorial strategy, publishing, journalism, marketing communications, or related content roles.
- At least 3 years of experience developing, editing, managing, or coordinating content for print publications or recurring editorial programs.
- Experience creating and managing editorial calendars, content plans, production schedules, or publication workflows.
- Experience managing reviews, approvals, and content delivery with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced or matrixed environment.
- Ability to work remotely from the United States and maintain a dedicated workspace suitable for protecting member PHI and HIPAA information.
Nice to have
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, financial services, government, publishing, media, or another regulated industry.
- Experience creating print content for members, consumers, patients, caregivers, older adults, or health-focused audiences.
- Experience with Workfront, Aprimo, Adobe Experience Manager, or similar content management, workflow, planning, approval, or analytics platforms.
- Experience using audience insights, performance data, readability standards, or stakeholder feedback to improve content effectiveness.
- Strong editorial judgment and the ability to translate complex business or health information into clear, engaging, and actionable content.
