Senior Cost Manager (Commercial)

What you will do

• Manage tender and bid processes from documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Identify, analyze, approve, and implement changes affecting project costs.
• Create estimates, cost plans, valuations, and cost reports for client developments.
• Prepare and agree final accounts, including construction claims and loss and expense claims.
• Support project decisions through clear cost documentation and timely communication.
• Mentor employees and foster performance and professional growth.

Requirements

• Experience in pre- and post-contract cost management, budget control, cost planning, and change management.
• Knowledge of alternative construction materials and experience collaborating with project stakeholders.
• Chartered status or progress toward chartership.
• Degree or comparable experience in project management or a construction discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
