Practice Consultant, Demand Side Management

Salary: $65,800–$98,700 per year

What you will do

• Design energy solutions, measure strategies, program structures, budgets, and pricing for pursuits.
• Translate market, regulatory, and client needs into tailored, executable, and scalable program designs.
• Support handoff from proposals to program delivery and align solution specifications with operational capabilities.
• Collaborate with business development, delivery, engineering, product, IT, marketing, and business intelligence teams.
• Refine solution design methodologies, training materials, offerings, and operational processes.
• Monitor demand-side management, electrification, distributed energy resource, regulatory, evaluation, and technology developments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in energy efficiency, demand-side management, electrification, or a related field.
• Experience supporting the design and delivery of energy programs or solutions.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and data interpretation skills using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with regulated utility environments, filings, and evaluation frameworks.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and deliver results under tight timelines.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship or immigration support.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting program offerings across multiple markets.
• Expertise in process design, workflow mapping, and operational optimization.
• Experience using advanced analytics or AI tools to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Background in engineering, economics, environmental science, DSM programming, or a related analytical discipline.
• Prior client-facing presentation experience.
