Salesforce Business Analyst (State Consulting)

Location: US - Remote

Base compensation: $90,000; $110,000–$125,000 annually

What you will do

• Map and document technical and business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend automation opportunities.
• Create business requirements, process flows, user stories, Gantt charts, mockups, wireframes, and other project deliverables.
• Advise on Salesforce capabilities including Service Cloud, Agentforce, and ITSM.
• Partner with engineering teams to validate findings and implement approved recommendations.
• Manage Jira tickets and Confluence pages, facilitate meetings, document decisions, and remove delivery roadblocks.
• Support agile and SAFe practices and prepare status reports and presentations for client and company leadership.

Requirements

• Business analysis and Salesforce expertise, with the ability to document processes and technical workflows.
• Empathy, patience, and professionalism when supporting end users during remote sessions.
• Ability to explain technical steps clearly and provide actionable detail to senior administrators.
• Proficiency with Excel for tracking devices, remediation, deployments, and issue trends.
• Ticketing-system literacy; Salesforce and/or Jira experience is helpful and can be developed on the job.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, integrity, and follow-through.
