Senior Business Analyst (AWS/React)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; U.S. Citizenship required and the candidate must be able to obtain the required government security clearance.

Salary: $100,000–$105,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and management of business and technical requirements.
• Translate business objectives into user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, acceptance criteria, process flows, use cases, and technical specifications.
• Analyze current- and future-state business processes, workflows, dependencies, and impacts of proposed system changes.
• Support Agile delivery through backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, release planning, and requirement clarification.
• Develop documentation in Confluence and collaborate with QA on test scenarios, functional testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Improve business analysis standards and mentor project teams on requirements quality and Agile delivery practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Six or more years of experience in business analysis, technical analysis, systems analysis, or software delivery.
• Experience with requirements management, user stories, acceptance criteria, business process analysis, and Agile software development.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence, with exposure to React, Node, GitLab, and AWS cloud environments.
• Strong Software Development Life Cycle, analytical, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain the required government security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Federal Government software development, enterprise modernization, or legacy application replacement programs.
• Experience with wireframes, mockups, workflow diagrams, REST APIs, system integrations, databases, or cloud-native applications.
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, data analysis, data mapping, data modeling, or production implementation.
• Familiarity with SAFe, Lean, Kanban, or other Agile frameworks.
• Business analysis certifications such as PMI-PBA, CBAP, or IIBA-AAC.
