Data Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid work at the Monopolis complex in Lodz, Poland

Salary: PLN 129,000–215,000 per year, plus a performance-related 12% yearly bonus

What you will do

• Design and implement complex data pipelines for engineering and process functions.
• Optimize data processes to improve efficiency and performance in an industrial context.
• Develop data models and schemas across business and operational domains.
• Drive end-to-end data integration across multiple systems and platforms.
• Champion data governance initiatives focused on data quality and compliance.
• Implement GenAI integration patterns and RAG pipelines, resolve complex data issues, and communicate insights to business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in the chemical or industrial sector.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and ETL tools.
• Experience with major cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a business-driven, cross-functional environment.
• Fluent English required.
