Senior Project Manager (Data/Technology Transformation)

Location: Leeds, UK — hybrid, with two days on site each week. The engagement lasts six months, with a possibility of extension.

hirify.global is recruiting for a technology and data transformation project supporting the replacement of a policy administration system.

What you will do

• Manage technology discovery activities and ensure delivery artefacts meet agreed scope, quality, and timelines.
• Coordinate architecture designs, integration mapping, data quality assessments, technical requirements, and environment planning.
• Align architecture, data, integration, business, SME, supplier, and programme stakeholder activities.
• Track and escalate technology risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and delivery decisions.
• Assess vendor proposals and designs, providing technology insight and impact analysis.
• Coordinate workshops, readiness assessments, and phase exits while maintaining governance reporting.

Requirements

• Strong project or delivery management experience in technology and data-led transformation programmes.
• Working knowledge of architecture, systems integration, and data quality concepts.
• Experience coordinating SMEs, architects, business teams, suppliers, and other stakeholder groups.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in data quality root-cause analysis.
• Confident communication and reporting skills for workstream and programme governance forums.
• Experience in a multi-vendor or partner delivery environment; formal project management certification is desirable.

Nice to have

• Insurance or financial services experience.
• PRINCE2, APM, or Agile PM qualification.
