Senior Project Manager (Technology Transformation)

Location: Leeds, UK — hybrid, with 2 days per week in the office

Company

Established UK organisation delivering a significant technology transformation programme and a business-critical technology platform implementation.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain an integrated project plan covering milestones, dependencies, timelines, and resource sequencing.
• Coordinate delivery across internal teams and third-party technology suppliers.
• Ensure the technology blueprint is agreed and delivered after the vendor blueprinting phase.
• Establish governance, reporting, and RAID management frameworks.
• Monitor supplier progress and manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies through project completion.
• Support Agile delivery practices, knowledge transfer, and the adoption of effective delivery processes.

Requirements

• Strong experience delivering technology transformation programmes and complex projects from planning through implementation.
• Proven project planning, milestone, dependency, governance, reporting, and RAID management experience.
• Experience managing third-party suppliers and holding vendors accountable for delivery.
• Experience working across internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and collaborative ways of working.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organisational, and delivery-focused skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance, financial services, or another regulated environment.
