What you will do

• Support the architecture, design, and validation of high-speed RFICs, including laser drivers, TIAs, and analog front-ends.
• Define RFIC specifications and technology roadmaps for coherent and direct-detect optical platforms from 100G through 1.6T ZR/ZR+.
• Own technology selection and trade-offs across SiGe BiCMOS, RF CMOS, and advanced foundry processes.
• Drive RFIC development from concept and silicon through bring-up, DVT, PVT, and mass production.
• Optimize bandwidth, noise, linearity, output swing, power, and robustness.
• Mentor RFIC engineers, support capability building, and represent RFIC technology to foundries, partners, and universities.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in high-speed analog or RFIC design.
• Experience designing RFICs for optical transceivers or optical engines.
• Deep expertise in RFIC and high-speed analog circuit design, laser drivers, TIAs, coherent front-ends, noise, linearity, signal integrity, and power optimization.
• Strong experience with the Cadence design flow, including Virtuoso, Spectre, and EM tools.
• Experience with silicon bring-up, characterization, qualification, Silicon Photonics integration, and collaboration in a multi-site matrix organization.
