What you will do

• Develop high-performance digital hardware assemblies for signal generators, from circuit concepts and schematics through PCB development and instrument integration.
• Analyze and optimize signal integrity, power integrity, timing, impedance control, and digital interfaces.
• Support PCB layouts using CR-8000 or comparable toolchains while applying DFM and DFT requirements.
• Bring up, measure, debug, and verify new hardware assemblies in the laboratory.
• Coordinate prototype builds, integration and system testing, technical documentation, and production handover.
• Plan and support EMC/EMI, environmental, reliability, and integration testing, while coordinating interfaces with FPGA, embedded, and software teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Several years of experience developing digital electronic circuits and hardware assemblies.
• Experience with professional PCB design toolchains such as CR-8000, schematic capture, and PCB layout reviews.
• Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, debugging, verification, and electronic measurement equipment.
• Knowledge of high-speed digital design, signal integrity, power integrity, timing, impedance control, and interfaces such as DDR, LVDS, or SerDes.
• Confident communication in German and English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with prototype management, DFM/DFT, EMC/EMI, environmental and reliability testing, or production transfer.
• Knowledge of Python or MATLAB for measurement automation, data analysis, or testing.
