Analog / RF / High-Speed IC Design Engineer (Graphene Photonics)

What you will do

• Design and simulate broadband analog, RF, and high-speed mixed-signal circuit blocks for graphene photonic devices.
• Develop amplifiers, transimpedance and voltage-mode circuits, high-speed drivers, and low-noise amplifiers.
• Run AC, transient, noise, jitter, linearity, stability, PVT, and Monte Carlo analyses.
• Collaborate with layout engineers on parasitic-aware implementation and post-layout verification.
• Support silicon bring-up, laboratory characterization, debugging, and correlation of measured performance with simulations.
• Work with system, device, packaging, and product teams to define specifications and document results.

Requirements

• PhD in IC design or a related field; two to three years of postdoctoral experience are preferred.
• Strong foundation in analog circuit design, including gain, bandwidth, noise, linearity, feedback, and stability.
• Understanding of CMOS and FinFET device physics, high-frequency circuit behavior, and integrated photonic circuits such as modulators and photodetectors.
• Experience with high-speed or RF blocks, including amplifiers, clocking circuits, SerDes, or optical interfaces.
• Experience with custom IC design, simulation, laboratory debugging, PVT and Monte Carlo analysis, and data interpretation.
• Familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, Python, RF and electromagnetic simulation tools such as ADS or HFSS, post-layout verification tools, and high-speed laboratory equipment.
