Student, Development & Application Support (Workflow Management Systems)

Location: Toronto office, flexible hybrid schedule; current work authorization for Canada is required

Salary: CAD 25.00–29.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support internal applications and gain familiarity with Fidelity’s business models and systems.
• Complete ad hoc programming tasks for the development team.
• Design, code, test, debug, and implement application and API features.
• Create, improve, and organize application documentation.
• Evaluate and implement useful development and support best practices.

Requirements

• Pursuing a university degree in Computer Science, a technically focused business program, or a related technical field, ideally in the third or fourth year.
• Interest in and understanding of web development and APIs.
• Knowledge of Java, .NET, Angular, HTML/HTML5, and CSS libraries.
• Must be enrolled in a registered co-op program and available full-time for the entire co-op term.
• Must have current work authorization for Canada.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Groovy, Perl, Linux/Unix shell, and SQL/Oracle databases.
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, or ServiceNow.
