Senior Fullstack Developer (Java/Vue)

Location: Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Salary: CAD 135,000–170,000 per year, plus a 5% variable annual bonus and potential RSU grant.

What you will do

• Build an integral part of the client portal within a small, fast-paced Agile Scrum team.
• Deliver software solutions for the impact.com platform with attention to customer needs.
• Build, maintain, and monitor scalable web applications used by thousands of users worldwide.
• Work with the frameworks, languages, tools, and services used across the platform.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• A diploma or BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong Java skills and familiarity with functional programming; professional experience with Spring and Hibernate.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, especially Vue, and SQL databases such as MySQL or MSSQL.
• Experience with GCP, GitHub, and Linux environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka or Google Pub/Sub for real-time streaming.
• Experience deploying and monitoring end-to-end web applications.
• Experience with Gradle, Maven, or Jenkins.
