TL;DR
Senior Manager, Employee Relations (Employee Relations/Employment Law): Managing complex employee relations matters and workplace investigations across multiple EMEA jurisdictions with an accent on legal compliance, risk assessment, governance, and employee experience. Focus on interpreting employment legislation, analyzing case trends, improving HR technology and case management, and advising leaders on cross-border workplace issues.

What you will do

  • Advise People Partners, managers, and business leaders on complex employee relations matters across the EMEA region.
  • Lead workplace investigations and manage cases involving performance, misconduct, grievances, disciplinary actions, conflict, organizational change, and employment separations.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and regional stakeholders to manage organizational risk and ensure legally defensible decisions.
  • Support the localization, implementation, and governance of global employee relations policies and frameworks.
  • Analyze case data, workforce trends, and legislative developments to identify risks and recommend preventive actions.
  • Improve case management, reporting, manager guidance, HR technology, and AI-enabled employee relations services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • At least five years of progressive experience in Employee Relations, Human Resources, Employment Law, or Compliance.
  • Experience managing complex employee relations matters and investigations across multiple EMEA jurisdictions.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, regulatory frameworks, risk assessment, and employee relations practices.
  • Excellent consultation, influencing, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in additional EMEA languages is preferred.

Nice to have

  • Professional certification such as CIPD Level 5 or 7, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR, or an equivalent credential.
  • Experience with Works Councils, trade unions, collective consultation, TUPE, labor inspections, and restructures.
  • Experience in global People Operations, Global Business Services, Shared Services, or tiered HR service delivery models.
  • Experience with HR technologies, case management platforms, reporting, knowledge management, and AI-enabled solutions.
