Senior Employee Relations Consultant - Human Resources (Employee Relations): Advising managers and HR partners on complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations, employment legislation, and policy interpretation with an accent on sensitive case management, risk mitigation, and compliant decision-making. Focus on leading investigations, resolving workplace issues, analyzing employee relations trends, and mentoring HR professionals.

Location: London, United Kingdom. Applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom at the time of application and throughout employment.

What you will do

  • Advise managers and HR partners on counselling, disciplinary processes, performance concerns, grievances, and terminations.
  • Lead complex and sensitive employee relations investigations, partnering with Legal when required.
  • Interpret company policies, procedures, and employment legislation and provide balanced, risk-aware advice.
  • Partner with business leaders, HR, Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders to identify and address employee relations risks.
  • Develop policy and process improvements based on investigation outcomes and employee relations trends.
  • Analyze employee relations data, lead related initiatives, and mentor less experienced HR and Employee Relations professionals.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in Employee Relations, Human Resources, Employment Law, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience handling complex employee relations matters and sensitive workplace investigations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR policies, and employee relations practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, conflict resolution, communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and exercise sound judgment, professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Existing right to work in the United Kingdom is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
